Starting from the Sirimon Gate, the journey begins with a trek through equatorial forests to Judmaier’s Camp. Over the next few days, trekkers ascend through the Likii North Valley and into the scenic Mackinder’s Valley, known for its unique flora, including giant groundsels. The route offers spectacular views of subsidiary peaks like Teleki and Sendeyo, as well as the main peaks of Batian and Nelion. The ascent to Point Lenana via the less-trodden north face is a highlight, providing a sense of accomplishment and breathtaking vistas. The descent follows the Naro Moru Track, completing a rewarding circuit of Mount Kenya.
